Turkey Cubed

The Universe works in mysterious ways.

This morning after dropping my son off at school, I sat and wrote five new blog posts (make that six including this one) and queued up another for tomorrow.

I was also working on polishing off four other ones for publishing, including two for turkey dinner recipes that I had wanted to publish for Thanksgiving, but I will be queueing up over the next several weeks in preparation for the upcoming Winter holidays.

Two nights ago, I had started re-organizing, re-evaluating, re-invigorating, and re-visiting my goals and what I have accomplished over the past several years of my life and what I wanted to manifest in my future that lies ahead.

While cleaning up my office, I came across my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 Digital Camera which I have kept promising to give to my son.  I kept telling him he couldn’t have it until we re-charged the batteries and that I had to get my photos off the card before he could play with it in fear of any photos getting deleted.

How ironic is that tonight I finally moved my photos off of the card and onto my laptop.  Most of the photos on the card are from the last time I was cooking a turkey dinner and had taken to blog about it.  I do not remember taking these photos but judging by the creation date, they are from our Winter Solstice dinner from last year.

I took a turkey out of the freezer on Wednesday night to thaw so that over the weekend I could roast it up, take some photos, verify my recipes and post them to give people a few weeks to gather up any needed ingredients for their Winter celebrations.

Here is a sneak peak of what’s to come over the next few weeks:
